As the baby boomers began to age 55+ neighborhoods that are not assisted living facilities are increasing rapidly

6. Changes in perception, mood, meaning

As people are become more health conscious and active clothing companies are developing new clothing lines that better suited for activities such as running and yoga – and are charging much higher prices and getting them!

7. New knowledge, both scientific & unscientific
|
There are so many – iPhone, Skype, FastLane, DVR to name a few.

7 Sources of Innovation
Below you will find the 7 Sources of Innovation (Peter Drucker) and some examples of each. Of course each of these have an infinite number of examples but here are a few that came to my mind. Thoughts?

ReplyDeleteThe shift to mobile everything is really a great innovation, especially after several years of online service innovation, the apps of various service providers based on smartphone and tablet started to be another significant innovation.
Changing in perception of healthy and environment does lead to appearance of more innovation. Hybrid cars, for example, is an emerging high-tech product fulfill people's need of environmental protection.
I like the example about baby boomers, the huge population of baby boomer generation brought us changes in every aspects of life. I even thought information boom with the number of people and thus may be one reason lead to our fast-pace lifestyle now.
ReplyDeleteWorth reading a content. According to Peter Drucker there are source for any innovation and that's good way to categorize reason for innovation. For Example, An entrepreneur can select Tech savvy who understand new technology fastly into his R&D team, because Knowing New technology is one of the source for innovation.
